The village of St Samson is just 2.5km from the town of Pré-en-Pail. Pré-en-Pail is on the N12.
Easily accessed by ferry ports, the nearest being Ouistreham 104km at just 1 hour 30 minutes drive.

Being centrally located we can be accessed by all other ports taking from 2 hours 30 to 4 hours.

The ports of:
Le Havre 213km,
Dieppe 243km,
Boulogne-sur-Mer 364km,
Calais 395km and
Roscoff 349km.

These ports are served by Brittany Ferries, LD Lines and Sea France. For our Irish friends Celtic Link and Irish Ferries offer regular sailings to France.

Situated on the borders of the departments of Orne and Mayenne surrounded by the forests of Monnaye, Multonne, Pail and the forêt d'Ecouves, the largest forest in the north of France. Within easy reach of the Normandy Beaches with many local places of WW2 interest and the quaint town of Bayeux famous for it's tapestry.

Alençon, famous for lace and the birth place of St Teresa. Le Mans, most widely known for the 24 hour car race but also offers Roman ruins, Cathedral and splendid Sunday market. Bagnoles-de-l'Orne, this beautiful Spa town with lake, bars, restaurants, casinos and golf course.

Train access to Paris and Le Mans from Argentan and Alençon.

Visit Haras de Pin famous horse stud farm just outside the Cathedral town of Sées. Horse trotting tracks in Bagnoles de l'Orne and Alençon. The Chateau of Carrouges steeped in history and intrigue.

Two day country fair in August.Visit St Anne for its horse fair in July and the cottage of the Resistance tucked in the forest. St Leonard des Bois located in the fabulous Alpes Mancelles for horse riding, mountain biking, Adventure Park, rock climbing and hiking.

A must visit! Staint-Ceneri-le-Genei, classified as one of  'France's prettiest villages.' Local weekly markets in both major towns and villages.
